Dear Friends and Family,
It’s Newton, owner of Chiesa. On Monday, December 28th, we made the collective decision as a staff that for the safety of our staff and guests it is in our best interest to temporarily close. (This is not a mandated decision, it is our decision.) Not necessarily the way we want to ring in the New Year, but ironically we feel it is putting our best foot forward into 2021. If 2020 has had anything positive to teach us it is that the health and well-being of our families and friend must always come first.
We will continue service through New Year’s Eve, Thursday, December 31st, and look forward to honoring all of our reservations and taking curbside orders between now and Thursday.
As we reflect on 2020 I want to leave you with this…
We will never take for granted (or forget) the outpouring of support and generosity you have shown our staff throughout 2020. Your patience and kindness with all of us as we have negotiated the new norms of hospitality has been incredible. Likewise, we will always be grateful for the special memories of good food and drink we have shared with each of you around our tables. As we move into 2021 we look forward to the hopefully not too distant future when we can once again gather around our tables and raise a glass to a wonderful and healthy year filled with great possibilities.
Peace, love, and good health,
Newton
