Great Food and Great Service

At Chiesa we are passionate about great food and great service. We are honored to be a part of your special occasion, or spontaneous night out. Whether you live in the neighborhood, or are visiting Asheville, it is our goal to create a memorable experience nightly for both old and new friends alike.

We chose Chiesa to celebrate our wedding anniversary – love, loved it. Intimate, private and quiet in a lovely setting. Pasta made on premises – menu is farm to table. Service was lovely and friendly. We’ll be back!~ OpenTable guest, 6/5/19

The waiter was wonderful explaining the differences in dishes. The food was so delicious and fresh, House made pasta!~ TripAdvisor guest, 6/4/19

We went for my brother-in-laws birthday and we had a great evening. The wait staff was very attentive and helpful with good recommendation from the menu. I’m the only one who is gluten intolerant and I still found great options to choose from. The drinks were creative and delicious,  it was an overall great night, one of the best Asheville restaurants we visited in recent years.~ Yelp guest, 6/6/19

Honestly, in my top 5 places ever. The food was divine.~ Google guest, 6/1/19

We had a perfect meal and lovely evening. The food was delicious! And the outdoor patio was charming. It was our favorite meal on our Asheville visit.~ OpenTable guest, 5/29/19

One of the best restaurants in Asheville. Beautiful patio in a neighborhood setting. Exceptional food with gracious employees. I sincerely hope when I come back next year it doesn’t change a bit, truly the best find of the weekend.~ OpenTable guest, 5/27/19

The owner was so kind, he kept the restaurant open past closing time to accommodate our late arrival and to celebrate our engagement! The food was fabulous and the service was amazing. We are so grateful they made our special day even more special.~ TripAdvisor guest, 5/17/19

Our server was excellent and the food was delicious! We each had different ravioli dishes (pasta is made in house) which were excellent. We are Asheville residents and think this is one of the best restaurants in town.~ OpenTable guest, 5/24/19

As a several times visitor to Asheville, we’d passed this restaurant previously and on this trip decided to stop. What a wonderful discovery. Server Misty was well informed and very helpful to the wife and I and also in suggesting wonderful dinner choices. The food was Superb. In fact, two nights later we returned for a second-helping of genuine hospitality. We then met owner Newton Clark, warm and affable and genuinely involved with every aspect of his restaurant. Kudos to the staff and owner, as Chiesa is one of a handful of Great Italian restaurants in America.~ TripAdvisor guest, 4/30/19

I’m a big foody, it’s hard for me to give any restaurant a five star. I cannot say enough on how amazing this place is! This was my second time here, my first dish was the stuffed cheese ravioli. I grew up in Boston in an Italian household. My father was 100% Italian and knew how to cook. I also grew up eating in the North End (little Italy) You cannot ask for a better tasting ravioli. My favorite of all dishes is steak. I’m a meat eater like no other. This filet mignon literally melts in your mouth. I’m tempted to go in the kitchen and give the cook a big ole hug. Owner is very personal and friendly. I’ll be seeing more and more of this place. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. You will not be disappointed!~ TripAdvisor guest, 4/13/19

My wife and I had dinner, sat at the bar, didn’t want to leave. We had a fantastic meal, just pasta and meatballs. Just pasta and meatballs? No, fresh made pasta cooked to a perfect al dente, a delicious tomato sauce , and a meatball like an Italian grandmother’s. We had a great time with the bartender, Brian. He made us feel like we were in our favorite dinner spot back home. Save room for dessert – the lemon cake cake was awesome.~ TripAdvisor guest, 3/17/19
